Gutter Capping Systems

The aluminum perforated gutter cover provides resistance to corrosion as well as bending and distortion. It is weather resistant and comes with a 20 year warranty.

With specially treated PVC, our gutter system is UV resistant, and deters mold and mildew. The PVC also remains flexible in cold weather conditions.

Installation is done in a single step and fits K-style gutters. It is invisible from the ground, and there is no need to lift or touch the shingles.

Our gutter systems can withstand upto 91 lbs/ft of pressure on its surface and includes a leaf-catcher to trap small debris that may get through the panel. All of this reduces the frequency of gutter cleaning, resulting in less hassle and fewer cleanings for years to come.

Roof Inspections and Repairs

Our roofing department offers a variety of services for your roof. We offer minor roof repairs, roof replacements, moss removal and roof inspections. We will always give you an honest opinion of what is really needed. If one area of your roof is in need of repair, we will repair it and not tell you to replace the entire roof. You will only be told this if this is the case.

Moss Removal Programs

Moss is a simple plant growth that thrives in damp, shaded locations. It is usually found on north slopes of roofs and roofs shaded by overhanging trees. You can control moss by removing overhanging tree branches, scraping away as much moss as possible, and spraying the area with chemicals. Spraying works best when moss is actively growing and when rain is not likely for several days. Moss grows rapidly in rainy weather.

Our application has been known to control mosses for two years and spraying application may need to be applied annually (depending on location, surrounding trees, ect.). Our professionals remove excessive moss from the roof by hand and then spray the roof (weather permitting). Holland Services uses Scotchgard Algae Resistant in our applications.

Buildup of moss on roofs erodes the surface, lifts shingles, and absorbs moisture that promotes decay and leakage. Our moss removal spray quickly kills the current growth and any new spores such as moss, algae, lichen, etc. Can be sprayed on wood shakes, shingles, tile roofs and any surface that promotes growth.

Concrete Sealing

Holland Home Services is now proud to offer concrete sealing. After you driveway has been pressure washed, we can apply a clear acrylic sealer to help protect against pop outs, scaling, and spalding. Concrete sealer has become an essential part of almost all concrete finishes. It is widely used as a curing agent for new concrete and a protective barrier for existing concrete.

Sealers protect against the elements, especially in harsh climates where there are many freeze and thaw cycles throughout the year. When water penetrates the surface and freezes, it expands and breaks apart the concrete resulting in scaling and spalding. Sealer creates a barrier that is impermeable to water and those harmful deicing salts.

Sealer also protects the surface from any chemicals, especially acids, that may be spilled and makes cleanup easy. Any spills can be easily mopped or rinsed away.

One of biggest benefits of sealer is stain prevention. It can prevent those hideous oil stains on driveways and garage floors, rust stains from aging patio furniture, grease stains from dripping grills, or those nasty black and green mold stains. With sealer, none of these can penetrate the surface which keeps your concrete looking clean.
